Kessler had her first Field Day today! It was so fun to watch her participate in some outdoor activities with a little competitive fun.

My favorite quote of the day is when Holland sat down by K and her friends, and K said, “This is my friend, Holland. She’s a sister.”

Team Meeting in Tampa (Not to mention I had to take a red eye from Denver from a meeting to get there.)

It’s taken me around 7 weeks, but better late than never! He was clearly happy to meet me.

It’s been nearly 2 months since Eric has cooked his classic dishes. We started Whole30 in preparation for our Hawaii trip, but not being strict at all now. But I do want to avoid processed foods if at all possible.

Eric’s grandpa was moved to the hospice area of his hospital this weekend. We visited him yesterday and he was having a beer and chatting with us just like his normal sweet self. We brought him a piece of apple pie that he loved and ate the whole thing! We plan to bring him his favorite fried shrimp for lunch tomorrow.

Kessler drew the sweetest picture for him. This is a self portrait of her and grandpa! Pretty darn accurate if you ask me 🙂
